About The Event
"Generations Over Dinner" organizes hundreds of intergenerational gatherings across the country. For MLK day 2024, we would like to follow their model and intentionally bring together the generations to create a time of connection and relationship building across the age continuum.
During dinner, we will have a conversation surrounding the principles that MLK advocated for and how this relates to current day, culminating in a soft pledge from the participants to take action!
Signed into law in January 1983 by President Ronald Reagan, the national Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday is a celebration of Dr. King’s immeasurable contribution to the United States, and to humankind.
